Nominations are being accepted for the 2016 Sworn and Civilian of the year award. Nominations must be submitted in writing and post marked by November 11, 2016. Please indicate sworn or civilian on the outside of the envelope.

Awards will be presented during the annual Christmas / Scholarship party on December 3, 2016.

 

 Sworn Officer of the Year / Civilian of the Year

 Eligibility
Paid member for a minimum of six months
Lifetime member
Full or part time sworn member – Supervisors included
Civilian of the Year – Detention Officers, Clerks, Courtesy Patrol, Detention and Civilian
Supervisors included
Active sworn Reserve
May be given Posthumous
No disciplinary action for year 2016

 Criteria for Nomination
Actions of Valor on or off duty
Without hesitation to his / her own safety
Serious injury during incident
Death during incident

 Work Ethic
Exemplary commitment and dedication
Excellent work attendance
Reliable / Dependable
Good working relationship with co-workers and Supervisors

 Community Service
Volunteer’s in the Community
Good relationship with the Community

Involvement with youth programs

 Association Participation
Active Board member
Active member
Contributions to the association
