2018 Scholarship Application Selection Guidelines
The NLPOA – Dallas County Chapter will award four (4) individual $1,200 Scholarships. Scholarships will be paid directly to the Recipients College / University. A Committee will select four Recipients using the following criteria.
- Must be a graduating Senior / GED certification or attending College
- Application appearance / Neatness / Legible
- College Transcrips
- Community / Extracurricular Activities
- Awards and Honors
- Essay regarding Career and Education goals
- GPA
- Scholarships are valid for one year from date of issuance
- Only two Scholarships per applicant are allowed within a four-year period. (Revised August 2018)
